@tledin Yea, maybe its fine. It probably works fine, just not the most popular way. The second string is perfect, but the first string is just a bit odd. I guess ive just never seen it done that way because from my experience, Ive seen the second done a couple ways, but the first is usually the same. Usually you go in the back of the head, come through the front of the mesh, and then back over the string. Basically you just interlock.

It is different from one of the more popular triangle videos on youtube, but in my opinion that one didn’t make any sense. Out of the few videos I’ve seen about it, they’re all different. I played around with a lot of different stringings, and this one I liked. Still, I know it might not be the best one. Is there a video that you know of that shows the way you prefer it? I’m always willing to try a different way. Thanks!

I don’t remember off-hand. The 1st string doesn’t need to be as long as the second. so, probably like 20-25 inches for #1, and 30-40 inches for #2. I always cut my strings long though to be safe. Probably wasteful, but it’s what I do.

You can also cut them super long 60+ the first time you do it, then cut off the left over, measure what you have left, and subtract that from the 60 to see how much you used.

Sorry I can be more specific, I haven’t strung a stick in over a month.
